The Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Marketer to spearhead our content strategy and tell the unique stories of Cube Business Media and its diverse portfolio of event brands vividly and consistently across marketing channels. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this permanent, full-time role requires a blend of creativity, strategic insight, and leadership to develop impactful marketing campaigns, work with cross-functional teams, and uphold brand consistency. As the steward of the voice of each of our 5 brands, the Content Marketer will play a crucial role in shaping our narrative and deepening relationships with key audiences across each of our communities, including entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders.

The Team :

The Marketing team is responsible for event branding, ticket sales and growing our audiences while engaging our diverse customer base. As a core member you will build and execute marketing plans as it relates to content strategy to help us on our mission to generate connections, build content and create communities.

What You Will Do :

Specific duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop and execute a holistic content strategy for Cube Business Media and associated brands across channels such as blogs, social, and YouTube
  • Develop and execute the evergreen content campaign plans and maintain the campaign calendar
  • In partnership with the marketing and design team (internal & external), maintain brand voice and guideline documents to ensure those documents meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure Cube Business Media’s brand voice is expressed consistently and effectively across all marketing channels
  • Audit and re-purpose existing video, photography, and audio assets to be used across marketing channels
  • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather insights and create compelling, audience-focused content for blogs, social media, and other marketing channels
  • Write clear, accurate, and impactful copy for all marketing campaigns and materials, including digital ads, emails, organic social media postings, medical event collateral, etc.
  • Write and schedule newsletters and promotional emails that inform, engage, and drive action
  • Track email performance and suggest improvements for open and conversion rates
  • Write and optimize web content to support conference promotion and audience engagement
  • Manage a library of assets including videography, photography, and audi o produced from conferences
  • Work with external agencies responsible for video production and photography

This Role is For You if You Have :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in content marketing, brand management, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies across multiple channels
  • Experience working with internal and external creative teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, photographers, and videographers
  • Proven track record of driving brand consistency across multiple marketing channels and campaigns
  • Strong portfolio of written and visual content, including digital ads, email campaigns, social media content, and other marketing collateral
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Proven ability to think both strategically and creatively
  • Strong communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and working effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience overseeing the production of marketing assets, from initial briefing through to delivery
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, social media platforms, and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, to ensure content is optimized for search engines and audience engagement
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust content strategies based on data insights
  • Bonus Points For :

  • Experience and / or a passion for events, conferences, tradeshows or other community and large scale events
  • Prior experience creating content about business and entrepreneurship or related topics
  • Experience with Active Campaign, Wordpress and social media scheduling software
  • Experience utilizing and experimenting with AI software tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Veed, Rev, and Opus Pro
  • Experience with video, audio, and podcasting content creation is highly desirable
  • What We Offer :

  • Competitive compensation package - $62,000 to $70,000 per year
  • 3-Weeks Paid Vacation, in addition to bonus time off periods such as Christmas week and early office closures on the day before long weekends and each Friday in the summer
