Instructional Designer – Instructor Training Program

About DriveWise BC

DriveWise BC is a leader in professional driver education in British Columbia. Our Instructor Training Program operates under ICBC oversight, and we are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer / Curriculum Developer to update, build, manage, and submit a new Instructor Training curriculum for certification. This role plays a critical part in training the instructors who train drivers all across British Columbia.

The Role

You will design, document, submit, and maintain our Instructor Training Program in full compliance with ICBC requirements. This includes curriculum development, certification submissions, and coordination of ICBC pilot courses and evaluations.

You will work both independently and with our curriculum team to build a professional, compliant, and modern Instructor Training Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a complete ICBC-compliant Instructor Training curriculum
• Develop course outlines, lesson plans, learning objectives, and assessments
• Prepare and submit full submission package to ICBC
• Coordinate and support ICBC pilot courses and evaluations
• Incorporate evaluator feedback and manage ongoing improvements for this and existing curriculum programs
• Build blended and online content using Genially, LearnWorlds, and other LMS tools
• Work closely with subject matter experts and leadership
