Funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, CritiCall Ontario is a 24-hour-a-day emergency consultation and referral service for physicians across the Province of Ontario. CritiCall links hospitals and medical resources throughout Ontario, to provide strategic healthcare communications solutions anywhere, any time they're needed.
Position Summary
The BI Reporting Specialist helps design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards that integrate data from multiple sources and bring out the most useful results for end users. This role is responsible for the complete range of BI capabilities : reporting, analysis, scorecarding, and dashboards.

Qualifications
1.University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
2.Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing application development in an IT or software development organization, healthcare application experience is preferred
3.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a BI Specialist or Software Developer using the Microsoft SQL Server Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL Server development experience with T-SQL).
4.Minimum of 2 years of experience in modern data warehouse architecture design and implementation in Azure and / or AWS and implementing data reports and dashboards using Power BI and / or Quick Sight.
5.General knowledge of AWS Redshift, Aurora, AWS DMS , Glue, Lambda, and S3, Azure Synapse Analytics (SQL DW), Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob and / or Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks and Azure Analysis Services.
6.Thorough knowledge of and proficiency in outcome measurement, data analysis, data security, data integrity, generating reports from data and program evaluation.
7.Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, mathematical and organizational skills.
8.Ability to meet, prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines.
9.Ability to balance creativity with pragmatism, concepts with practical applications
10.Remain current on technical and professional developments affecting area of responsibility.
11.Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and commitment to quality customer service.
12.Demonstrated high level of initiative and self-directive and ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
13.Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to teach education sessions throughout HHS when necessary.
