  • Maintain parts inventory levels for the purpose of meeting regional customer needs while effectively controlling redundancy and overall inventory value
  • Provide high quality service to the parts groups and regional parts customers
  • Assist national and global inventory management staff in addressing their requirements
  • Responsibility and management of shipping, receiving, internal material movements and warehousing
  • Involved in the planning and forecasting of aftermarket parts for customers
  • Responsible to maintain accuracy of actual inventory vs. system inventory and accountable for excess and obsolete inventory
  • Responsible for leading inventory counts, both cycle counting and full physical inventory counts
  • Implement systems and programs which result in continuous improvement in warehouse operations and service to customers
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment for all team members
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Parts Technician preferred or equivalent years of warehouse experience, logistics, inventory planning
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience leading a multi-level team
  • General understanding of warehouse operations, budgets, inventory, and inventory controls
  • Proficient computer skills office suite required; SAP considered an asset
  • Experience with the operation of powered industrial vehicles, such as a forklift, and manual equipment such as pallet jacks is required.
  • Solid customer service skills, organizational skills, and computer skills (including SAP and MS word / excel)
