Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a real estate firm that specializes in buildingmunities in Alberta. We are looking to hire an experienced property accountant to join their team on a contract basis with the potential of converting into a permanent role. This role is full-time in the office, Monday to Friday.Your new role

Managing Financial Records : Property accountants maintain accurate records of assets and funds related to real estate transactions.
Producing Portfolios : They create and manage portfolios that include financial information about properties.
Budgeting : Property accountants draw up budgets for real estate projects, ensuring financial stability.
Setting Accounts : They establish and maintain financial accounts specific to each property.
Preparing Statements : Property accountants prepare financial statements related to real estate investments.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have 3+ years of property accounting experience.

You will have strong technical skills with MS Excel and accounting software.

Yardi experience is an asset.

You will have a strong knowledge of financial transactions associated with properties, ensuring proper records for taxation purposes and generating relevant financial reports.

What you'll get in returnYou will have full-time hours, Monday-Friday. You will start out on a contract with the intention of bing permanent. You will receive apetitive hourly rate and benefits after 3 months.
