Senior Frontend Developer

Are you a Frontend Developer that has experience leading and building high performance consumer facing application from scratch?

You will be working with a stealth-mode AI start up who is based in San Francisco and building a second location out of Waterloo, Ontario.

They are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join a high-growth, stealth-mode AI startup as part of our new Waterloo hub. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first employee helping to build out this office location and work along side some of the brightest minds in engineering who are ex-Twitter, ex-Coinbase, etc. They offer a competitive salary and the chance to work at the cutting edge of AI in a consumer-focused environment.

Key Requirements :

• 3-8 years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer, ideally with a consumer-focused background.
• Proficiency in Node.js and React for frontend development.
• Backend experience with Python is a plus, though this is primarily a frontend role.
• In-person work environment; candidates should be comfortable with an office-based culture in Waterloo.
• Experience working in consumer-oriented companies is highly valued.
• Ability to hit the ground running, contribute as an individual contributor (IC), and thrive in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with agile development processes, sprint planning, and deploying production-ready code.
