What will your typical day look like?

As a Senior Manager within our Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice, you will be entrusted with pivotal responsibilities that span across strategic leadership and technical expertise. Your role will primarily revolve around leading our tax team on substantial ERP / Finance transformation projects, specifically within Oracle Cloud and tax engines environment and guiding clients through the intricacies of tax transformation processes which encompass Direct, Indirect, and Withholding Taxes.

Within specific engagement teams, your role will be multifaceted. You will facilitate client workshops aimed at gathering business requirements, conduct fit / gap analyses to align client needs with Oracle Cloud tax / tax engine offerings, and architect comprehensive end-to-end tax solutions for both procure-to-pay and order-to-cash flows. Moreover, you will oversee the configuration and review of Oracle tax configurations, and support testing and hyper-care phases. You will also undertake quality reviews for ongoing projects to ensure they meet the stipulated timelines, cost, quality standards, and budget. You will also have the opportunity to engage in business development activities, including handling RFPs and proposals. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the professional growth of team members through active mentoring, coaching, and training, sharing your extensive solution and technical expertise to uplift the team's capabilities.

About the team

Currently, we are seeking a Senior Manager for our TTC group to manage the Oracle tax implementations and tax automation. We are open to candidates in all locations in Canada.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You are someone with :

  • 10+ years of experience implementing Oracle ERP projects, including E-BusinessTax / Oracle cloud tax for large scale, cross pillar Oracle implementations.
  • Experience with indirect tax technology applications (e.g. ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avatax, Sovos) and / or (direct tax technology applications (e.g. Oracle EPM, Longview, ONESOURCE)
  • Hands-on experience configuring indirect tax (GST,HST,PST) in Oracle and / or integration with tax engines
  • Experience in Oracle ERP modules across Financials and Procurement
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, computer science, information systems or a related area
  • Management experience, and strong interpersonal skills and executive presence
  • Ability to participate in all aspects of engagement strategic planning initiatives.
  • Ability to lead multiple end-to-end Oracle tax projects

    The salary range for this position is $116,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
