Hickman Automotive Group has an opening for a temporary, full-time position as an Automotive Technician with our team at Hickman Honda in Grand Falls-Windsor. If you are an energetic and motivated individual who has a positive attitude, a dedication to providing exceptional customer service, and a desire to succeed, we would love to have you!

As an Automotive Technician, you will use current technology to keep our customers on the road by performing preventative maintenance and vehicle repairs in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will be working in a safe, clean, and organized environment with the possibility of flexible work times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, and general vehicle repair.
2. Perform preventative maintenance services and maintenance-related work as required.
3. Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
4. Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.
5. Work in compliance with Company Health and Safety policies and OHSA standards.
6. Attend company-sponsored training classes and dealer-specific training courses as scheduled by management.
7. Some heavy lifting required.
8. Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Qualifications:

1. Experience as an Automotive Service Technician required.
2. Solid understanding of automotive systems and parts.
3. Strong interpersonal skills.
4. Organizational, planning, and time management skills.
5. Knowledge of computers an asset.
6. Punctual and reliable.
