POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work directly with US and Canadian border regulators, brokers, and shippers to ensure the seamless movement of cross-border traffic
- Provide active guidance to CPKC Border staff to ensure error-free and tactical cross-border operations
- Investigate, manage, and resolve border exceptions
- Act as a point of contact and escalation for internal stakeholders involved in cross-border traffic
- Ensure process accuracy and supplemental tariff application
- Maintain, manage, and issue daily border metric reports
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities through solution development and implementation
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
University degree and / or equivalent experience in a transportation environment2 years of relevant railway, regulatory, or cross-border transportation experienceStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple initiatives with tight deadlinesAbility to innovate, solve problems, and manage conflictBilingual in English and Spanish; an assetProficient in MS Office SuiteWHAT CPKC HAS TO OFFER
