Maple Leaf Marinas (“MLM”)) is the largest owner and operator of marinas, marine resorts, and boat dealerships in Canada. MLM’s fast-growing portfolio includes 20 locations across the Lake Simcoe, Owen Sound, Georgian Bay, and Muskoka regions.
Position Overview
The successful candidate must be customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is essential. This full-time position requires weekend availability, with an immediate start date. Below is a summary of the responsibilities:
Duties:
- Provide a pleasant experience for customers.
- Conduct inventory checks and counts as assigned by the Parts Manager.
- Collaborate with the service department and technicians to order parts and book them on work orders.
- Order and receive parts into inventory.
- Maintain stocked shelves, organization, and up-to-date pricing of Ship’s Store products.
- Operate the POS system.
- Assist customers.
- Set up displays.
- Assist the Parts Manager with daily tasks.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones.
- Assist with coordinating special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager, Parts Manager, or Service Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Sales experience, with a preference for those thriving in a social retail environment.
- Knowledge of Georgian Bay and the boating lifestyle.
