Social Media Manager (Hybrid – 15-20 hrs / week)

About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to take charge of our online presence and grow our brand through creative and engaging content. This role is hybrid – while content planning, editing, and scheduling can be done remotely, in-studio presence 2-3 times per week is required for content creation and capturing live events ( mainly on weekends and weekday evenings) .

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a content calendar
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photos and reels showcasing micro weddings, styled shoots, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Batch content bi-weekly to ensure a steady flow of engaging posts.
- Attend in-studio events, workshops, proposals, and busy weekends to capture content
- Optimize hashtags, SEO captions, and strategies for organic growth.
- Stay ahead of trends, incorporating Instagram Reels, TikTok challenges, and viral content into our strategy.
- Manage and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Monitor and engage with comments, DMs, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Track and analyze social media insights to optimize engagement and performance.
- Retrieve content from photographers and influencers to feature on our socials
- Organize giveaways and collaborations with brands in the wedding and photography industry.
- Actively engage with followers, past clients, and vendors to build a strong, interactive community.
- Create and implement mood boards and creative direction
- for styled content days.
Requirements
Prior experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role is not required but would be a valuable asset.Skilled in proofreading, reel editing, and crafting engaging captionsStrong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagementFamiliarity with photo studios and the wedding industry is a plus.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation.Ability to attend in-studio events and capture content – most events take place on weekends and occasional evenings, so weekend availability is CRUCIAL!Perks of Working with Us
