Family Physician 200-1040

Flowerstone Family Health Clinic is seeking a family physician to join the practice. We are a family practice clinic with a team-based care model within the Oceanside Primary Care Network. There are currently 4 Nurse Practitioners practising in the clinic, with a plan to add two more Nurse Practitioners and two full-time family practice GPs. The clinic is bright, new, easily walkable, and right in the centre of Qualicum Beach. Easily accesses the huge trail network, both hiking and biking, in Qualicum. If you are looking to be part of an exciting and progressive new team, this is the practice for you. Overhead is negotiated with the clinic. The area uses the Health Connect Registry to quickly and equitably help physicians and NPs build their practice to ensure they get up and running as quickly as they need to.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Remuneration: Fee-for-Service

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidy Agreement (RSA) including:

1. Recruitment Incentive = up to $10,000

2. Relocation Costs Reimbursement – up to a maximum of $15,000

3. Fee Premium = 4.62%

4. Annual Flat Fee = $7,159.68

Rural CME starting at $2,200/annum in years 3&4, then increasing to a maximum of $4,400 after 4 years in the community.
