Airport Operations Assistant - Full-Time

The Slave Lake Airport Services Commission is seeking an individual for the following Full-Time, Permanent position : Airport Operations Assistant . Reporting to the airport manager, the assistant will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the airport.

Duties :

• Operate and maintain all airport equipment.
• Maintain airport infrastructure, including buildings, airport lighting and maneuvering surfaces.
• Perform daily runway checks, issue NOTAMS, condition reports and other required reports.
• Be on call after hours
• Operate aircraft radio equipment
• Submit reports to the commission board of directors
• Other duties as assigned
