Job descriptionResponsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen as well as food preparation work areas as required Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including the dish washing machine hand wash stations and pot scrubbing station Must be capable of working effectively both unsupervised and within a team environment Weekly deep clean of the back of the house Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment Organized and a great team player Hotel and restaurant work experience an asset Must be able to work varying shifts Must be able to stand during scheduled shift withstand repetitive walking reaching and bending for long periods of time Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment Understand WHMIS Understanding of food safety and hygiene
