Janitorial Supervisor

Wage : $26.50 – $29.00 / hour (DOE)

Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Janitorial / Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations within commercial and / or industrial facilities. This role is responsible for supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to specification.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, customer service experience, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of janitorial and housekeeping staff
• Plan, assign, and manage employee work schedules
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets established standards and specifications
• Train staff on work procedures, safety practices, and proper use of equipment
• Investigate service or equipment issues and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate cleaning activities with other departments as needed
• Monitor inventory and ensure equipment is maintained and in proper working order
• Assist with cleaning duties when required
• Select appropriate cleaning products and materials for various surfaces and environments
