Job descriptionRole Name: Business Systems Analyst or Data AnalystLocation: MONTREAL / 4 days onsiteDuration: 6+ monthsSkills Required: BSA ,Data Modelling , Data AnalystJob Description: Key Responsibilities:• Regulatory Compliance: Analyse and interpret US regulatory reporting requirements (SEC, FINRA, CFTC, Fed, TIC SLT, etc.)• Data Modelling: Design and maintain data models to support regulatory reporting workflows• Data Analysis: Perform comprehensive data analysis to validate reporting accuracy and identify discrepancies• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with compliance, risk, and IT teams to define reporting specifications• Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for regulatory reporting processes• Quality Assurance: Implement data validation controls and reconciliation procedures• Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior management and regulatory teams• System Integration: Work with technical teams to enhance reporting systems and data pipelines• Regulatory Updates: Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on existing reporting pro-cessesRequired Skills & Experience:• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of US financial regulations and reporting standards• Data Modelling: Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling techniques• Data Analysis: Advanced skills in data analysis, statistical methods, and trend identification• Technical Tools: Experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI, and data visualization tools• Business Process: Strong business process analysis and improvement capabilities• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for regulatory documentationQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field• 4+ years of experience in regulatory reporting or financial data analysis• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Dodd-Frank, Basel III, CCAR, etc.)• Experience with financial data warehouses and reporting systems• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight regulatory deadlines• Professional certifications (CFA, FRM, or similar) preferred"
