As a Catering Server , reporting to the Catering Supervisor / Catering Director, you will perform a variety of clerical tasks within the food services function. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and is an essential contributor to ensure the event / function runs smoothly.

Your work will include :

• Check assembled catering against catering order to ensure order is as submitted
• Communicate with Catering Chef's to ensure all items are clear and understood, nothing is amiss, food items are aesthetically presentable.
• Loading and walking food to location of the event.
• Ability to lift upwards of 25lbs
• Set up and break down event space based on Catering Event requirements :  Preparing tables, serving stations, or buffet tables for service. Cleaning up after events and aiding in inventory
• Understanding of Allergens
• Temperature check food, beverages and record. Maintain records for all catered events
• Ability to handle high-stress situations
• Comfortable rapport with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Reliable transportation for late nights
• Knowledge of catering best practices
• Understanding of food and beverage health and safety requirements
• Serving food and beverage to guests at their tables or at serving stations
• Creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining and entertainment
• Communicating with colleagues to ensure a smooth event
