ELITS is now looking for an AI Data Engineer for our operations in Montreal .

About this position

As an AI Data Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain data pipelines that empower machine learning and analytics across the organization. You’ll collaborate with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver clean, reliable, and scalable data infrastructure, ensuring seamless flow from raw sources to production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain robust ETL / ELT pipelines for machine learning workloads.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across multiple environments (cloud and on-premise).
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security for AI / ML models and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and optimize workflows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance, addressing issues promptly.
• Integrate data sources (APIs, databases, files) and enable downstream analytics and machine learning.
• Document architectures, data lineage, and operational procedures for transparency and reproducibility.
• Maintain data infrastructure with regular upgrades and preventative maintenance.
