PAL Technical Services is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team in St. John's, NL.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Assist with the creation, development, implementation, and maintenance of company Safe Work Practices, Safe Job Procedures and Job Safety Analysis.
• Assist with implementing action plans for identified trends to continuously reduce compliance, maintenance error and employee safety risk.
• Assist management and supervisors with safety and operational reports identified through the company reporting system to ensure all reports are assessed and appropriate actions are completed to address risks.
• Conduct facility inspections, recommend corrective actions, and assist management team with implementation.
• Monitor required onsite inspection programs (tools, equipment, facility).
• Conduct fit tests, monitor fit testing program.
• Advise and support HSE committees.
• Assist with preparation of quarterly safety newsletter.
• Develop awareness and safety promotion materials for personnel to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Work with all PAL Group of Companies to ensure all safety objectives and operational requirements are met.
