As a Sr. Manager - Culture & Conduct, you will be responsible for the tactical execution of conduct & behaviour review processes on sales activities, identifying best practices across the retail and commercial banking network, as well as practices that are not aligned with target client experiences.
You will be working closely with partners and building meaningful business relationships across Canadian Banking.
In addition, you support in developing and maintaining analytical frameworks that leverage a data driven approach for identifying sales practices and advisor activities that do not align with the target client experience.
Deliver business insights by applying analytical methodologies and developing reporting.
What will you do?
As a Subject Matter Expert of Canadian Banking channels, products and services, you will provide strategic & tactical leadership, support, and insights on conduct & behaviour related processes
Perform detailed case reviews for identified anomalies or concerns related to sales & service activities and behaviours.
Liaise regularly with our regional and Advice Centre channel partners on conduct & behavioural reviews
Design & deliver new conduct review processes including building additional breadth across more channels & roles, and depth across more products & services
Responsible for design, build & delivery of conduct & behaviour related presentations to partners and leaders that drive strategic decisions, management action plans, operating model changes, and ongoing monitoring
Collaborate and manage a large number of business relationships with partners from Regional & Advice Centre teams as well as a number of National Office teams
Design and develop analytics to identify outlier advisor practices, unusual patterns in client interactions, sales results etc.
Analyze structured and unstructured data (e.g. advisor activities including client interactions, sales activities and outcomes, banking transactions, etc) and identify patterns consistent with poor practices / strong practices.
Develop data visualization and reporting capabilities to deliver effective data insights and reporting.
Support management and team members with gathering insights for ad hoc requests
What do you need to succeed?
Required Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a financial institution with familiarity of Canadian banking products and services.
In-depth knowledge of Personal & Commercial Banking roles and products, including previous sales and / or leadership experience in retail banking.
Business Relationship Management : Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to communicate with people in a wide variety of areas and at various levels, through to executive leadership
Proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools
Ability to derive valuable insights and support data-driven decision making through data analysis and exploration
Suggested Qualifications :
Experience working within Regional Banking, Advice Centres, Career Sales, Commercial Banking, and / or Private Banking partners
Experience with risk assessment & applying quantification methodologies
Demonstrated ETL and data modeling capabilities, and programming experience with large databases / datasets (using tools such as Python and Teradata SQL)
Experience working with machine-learning algorithms
