Position Summary
BCIT’s Student Services department is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Registered Nurse. Duties & Responsibilities The on campus medical clinic provides primary care to the BCIT student community. Nurses use a broad range of nursing skills in partnership with the multi-disciplinary health team (physicians, counsellors and psychiatrist). The clinic has two FTE nursing positions that take the lead on providing immunization and vaccination services, health promotion, and patient triage. The nursing team works collaboratively with the School of Health Sciences in preparation of all newly admitted students to meet their clinical placement requirements. The nursing position works collaboratively to develop health awareness programming on campus and are participants on various groups / committees. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS :
