Chemical Cleaning Supervisor

Job descriptionEnerMech is hiring Chemical Cleaning Supervisors and Technicians for the Canada LNG project in Kitimat, BC.

This is an on-rotation job at a camp. All expenses such as lodging and food are provided. You will be provided airfare from major hubs in Canada to get you to and from site.

Job Purpose : To comply with departmental procedures, participate with equipment documentation and maintenance, oversee all equipment and personnel operations on site.

Maintain a leading role within crews with minimal supervision by Project Managers whilst utilizing good communication skills with all EnerMech and client team members in order to operate in an efficient, safe, flexible and dynamic manner on projects as directed.

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for Chemical Cleaning crews by planning, leading, organizing and coordinating the daily operations of the service line crew.

This includes responsibility over proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion.

Ensures compliance with all Company policies / procedures and maintains / improves good customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services.

Main Responsibilities : · Lead crews of up to 12 employees in undertaking chemical cleaning / flushing tasks, with a key focus on ensuring the safety of the EnerMech crew, and any other personnel present on a job, at all times.

• Carry out Chemical Cleaning activities including : chemical dosing, pumping, pump operation, boiler operation, steaming, drying and purgingand leading teams of 1 9 employees to complete these tasks.
• Work under Project Managers in all tasks, responsibilities, duties, work and projects as may be requested.· Perform any administrative requirements including accurate completion of work timesheets, JHA’s, vehicle check sheets, equipment inventory lists or any other documentation as may be required in the role.
• Follow EnerMech best practices and internal policies in relation to safety, fatigue, cleaning equipment, support equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, inventory control, client relations.
• Perform job walkdowns as required; marking up P&ID’s, identifying equipment and adaptor requirement to perform chemical cleaning· Train technicians as required.

Essential : · Experience in Chemical Cleaning / Pumping Chemicals· Experience Operating Centrifugal Pumps· Experience Handling Dangerous Goods· Experience Supervising small teams 1 12 people

Preferred : · Forklift License· Elevated Work Platform· Working at Heights· Confined Space & Gas Monitoring· Experience Operating Drying & Vacuum Drying EquipmentWork Experience in the Mining, Oil & Gas Industry
