The Caterpillar MineStar Onboard Specialist is a mine site-based role where you can work hand in hand with our customers. In this developmental role you will ensure the Command for Hauling equipment and system is working at its optimum performance. You will troubleshoot issues, and work with a multidisciplinary team to rectify any faults. You also have the ability to identify improvement opportunities and work with the Caterpillar engineering team to drive product improvements.
This role will be well suited to someone who wants to develop and grow their skills around autonomous mining trucks. Someone who thrives on challenges and enjoys driving continual improvement. Full product training will be provided as part of your onboarding process, including our on-board networks / machine control systems and how to troubleshoot them. Training program is tailored to the individual, which may include classroom training, on the job training and mentoring.

Experience in providing post-sales support and maintaining hardware products.
Problem Solving :
Ability to recognize, anticipate, and resolve organizational, operational, or process problems effectively.
Communication Skills :
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a complex team.
Analytical Skills :
Analytical skills that can be used to troubleshoot electronic systems to understand root cause.

Additional Information :
On-Board Specialists work 7x7 day shift. Site is a 45-minute drive from Kamloops, BC. Carpooling is provided to and from site, a hotel option close to site is available.
Domestic relocation to Kamloops, BC is available.
Applicants will assume this position at the applicable salary grade according to Caterpillar's Training Track standard process.

Summary Pay Range : $81,600 - $101,880
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
