Job Summary
The Manager, Manufacturing Test Engineering will support our manufacturing floor where we assemble and manufacture all products for our customers worldwide. From our circuit board manufacturing all the way though manufacturing and service, the Manager, Manufacturing Test Engineering will be focused on leading and developing a team responsible for improvements and development of product test equipment, but will also work closely with other operational disciplines and R+D to drive improvements across multiple product lines and processes

Responsibilities
Manage and develop team responsible for capacity and quality of product factory testing, and act as a champion for cross-functional continuous improvement activitiesEngage with Product Development, Quality, and other disciplines to ensure root-cause analyses and resolution of issues in product or process are completedOversee development, maintenance, and improvements to existing product test methods, equipment, software, and documentationDevelop or coordinate development of electronic interface hardware and mechanical interfaces to test product, and the software to support bothInvestigate and find root cause of product test failures and drive resolution to improve product yield, quality, and throughputlead and coordinate initiatives to source new technologies and oversee capital projects to deliver gains in productivity, capacity, efficiency, and qualityDrive manufacturing readiness and required technical staffing needs for new product introduction launches, interfacing with Product Development to ensure new products meet production test requirements and that manufacturing product test deliverables are metDrive standardization and improvement in manufacturing test software and equipmentManage development of documentation, procedures, and processes to standardize and improve manufacturing test operationsRequired Skills
10+ years experience in electronics test in a mid-to-high volume manufacturing environment, with preference given to candidates with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma accreditationExceptional understanding of modern circuit board assembly test methodologiesDemonstrated successes in leading projects or programs that have delivered significant results to Operations performanceThorough knowledge of electronics and assembly industry best-practicesAbility to rapidly prioritize and balance conflicting priorities, maintaining project deliverables and required levels of manufacturing supportExceptional ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writingCompetence in developing and debugging in Labview and Python, with experience in C, C++, and / or Java considered assetsExperience in electronics circuit and PCB layout design, RF test design in cellular, GPS, and other bands, data analysis and management through database usage, and experience with gas detectionSteel-Toed Boots Requirement :
Candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots for this role to ensure safety compliance in the workplace. Applicants must have access to a pair of steel-toed boots prior to starting employment.
