Production Worker

Overview

Production Worker role at Sunrise Farms participates in the production line within a poultry-focused company. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. Team members must be dependable, punctual, and willing to be flexible with day and night shifts as needed. Employees may be assigned to different areas within the production department as required.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
• Ensure production requirements and standards are consistently met
• Increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
• Collaborate with the production team to meet quotas and goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with safety guidelines
• Observe safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
• Packaging and processing of bone-in and bone-out products to meet company, CFIA and customer specifications

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with poultry is an asset
• Able to work in cold temperatures of 0–10°C
• Comfortable working with raw meat products
• Positive attitude and safety-focused
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Able to work 8-hour shifts standing

Compensation

$20.05 per hour
