Head – Warehouse Operations

This critical leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in overseeing large-scale warehouse operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring seamless inventory, logistics, and distribution performance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of warehouse and supply chain management, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of multiple warehouse facilities across the Atlantic region.

• Ensure smooth daily operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.

• Develop and implement KPIs and metrics to monitor performance, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs.

• Oversee staffing, training, and workforce planning to maintain high productivity and compliance with safety standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, and transportation to streamline operations.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality control requirements.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and technologies to enhance warehouse performance.

• Lead and manage warehouse audits, inventory accuracy checks, and risk assessments.

• Build a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence across all sites.

• Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior leadership on operational performance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.

• Proven expertise in leading multi-site or high-volume warehouse operations.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP), shipping/receiving protocols, and lean methodologies.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to develop teams and manage change in a dynamic environment.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

• Health and Safety certifications and knowledge of relevant provincial regulations are strong assets.
