TD Wealth Private Investment Advice (TDW PIA) is one of Canada’s premier full-service brokerage firms for clients who want to stay involved in decisions about their portfolios. TDW PIA offers high-net-worth clients the opportunity to establish a one‑on‑one relationship with a dedicated and professional Investment Advisor, while maintaining active participation in decisions regarding their financial affairs. We are hiring Developing Investment Advisors to join our Developing Investment Advisor Program, a highly specialized program that accelerates successful client portfolio building for high‑net‑worth clients.

Pay Details
$50,000 – $100,000 CAD, eligible for commission‑based earnings. Base pay may vary based on skills, experience, job‑related knowledge, location, and other needs. We encourage candidates to discuss compensation with recruiters.
Accountabilities
- Build a client base of HNW & UHNW clients, families, and business owners.
- Develop comprehensive wealth management and investment strategies for clients based on their needs.
- Make recommendations on portfolio construction, security selection, monitoring, and rebalancing.
- Execute a business plan focused on building client base and market share through prospecting, marketing, and developing a pipeline that identifies and cultivates relationships with potential clients and external referral sources.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to proactively attract, acquire and retain customers / sales opportunities and referrals, to increase profitability and enable business growth.
- Take a OneTD approach by establishing beneficial relationships between clients and TD Partners to provide goal‑based wealth advice across a full range of products and services.
- Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks effectively.
What Your Profile Looks Like
Undergraduate degree in finance, business, economics or related discipline.Currently licensed as a Registered Representative with CIRO.Professional designations such as CFP, CIM, and / or CFA considered assets.3+ years of experience in a client‑facing, sales or relationship‑focused role, ideally in a mutual fund or brokerage environment.Deep knowledge of the investment landscape, markets, and portfolio management.Curiosity and desire to stay on top of the latest trends and be a thought leader in the field.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven entrepreneurial experience and ability to prospect and manage client relationships.Comfort with compliance requirements and commitment to ethical client service.Life Insurance License (LLQP) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.Seniority Level
