Experienced Live-in Nanny Needed in Forest Hill Toronto, ON Apply Now!
Hello, I am looking for a reliable and punctual pet-friendly live-in caregiver to provide exceptional care for my 15 month old daughter first on a part-time during the trial (November and December) and then full-time as of January 2025.
No sponsorship and must be legally authorized to work in Canada. I am offering a competitive hourly rate of $18-25 / hr based on living arrangements, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and references.
If it is a good fit this will develop into a full time position in January between 30-40 hrs. This will position will start immediately (November / 2024)November / December Trial (12-20 hrs)Tuesday / Thursday 5 - bedtime (preferred)Friday 5 - bedtime preferred (preferred)Saturday 9 - bedtime (mandatory)Longterm Schedule starting in January 2025 (30-40)Monday- Friday Split schedule : 7-9 : 30 am & 3 : 00-bedtimeSaturday 9-bedtimeSunday (flexible)Requirements : - First Aid CPR- Background check- Up-to-date immunizations- Flu and Covid vaccine (new boosters when available)- Passport with ability to travel to US and Caribbean (Feb, March, April)- Feed, dress, bathe toddler- Assume household and childcare responsibility when parent is away- Maintain safety rules and guidelines outlined by parent- Able to swim or supervise swimming lessons- Assist with Potty train and change diapers- Utilize a car seat and stroller safely- Safely prep and feed solids - Follow daily schedule - Take to daily activities and medical appointments- Care for small dog as needed - Pick up and Drop off to daycare or school - House keeping duties laundry, tidying up, organizing, using dishwasher, meal prep and cooking (if desired).
2 years of experience working in childcare infants and toddlers preferred- French speaking or driver's license / transportation (preferred)- Parking on-site (street)The ideal candidate should have a genuine love for working with children.
Your responsibilities will include engaging our infant in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and assisting with light household duties.
