The starting annual salary for this part-time School Teacher position ranges from $27,735.20 to $43,383.20, with placement on the July 1, 2024 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Education & Experience

• Elementary teacher training with major / minor in French
• Major / minor or diploma in Special Education
• Training and experience with Level B Assessments (ie. KBIT2 / KTEA III)
• Major practicum work in French Immersion at the elementary level
• Experience teaching French Immersion at the elementary level
• Practicum and / or work experience in Special Education at the elementary level
• Case management experience required
• Eligible for B.C. Certification
• Satisfactory teacher evaluation and / or final practicum report
