Job descriptionClothier Rural area Relocation costs covered by employer Willing to relocate Dressmaking shop Fashion house Draw, lay out and cut master pattern of product Create pattern size variations from master patterns using computer or drafting instruments Lay out master pattern on fabric and cut sample pattern Estimate the amount of material of fabric required to make a product Examine sketches, samples of articles and specifications of designs to determine number, size and shape of pattern parts and assess the amount of cloth required to make a product Mark size, identification, style and sewing instructions on sample patterns Outline parts of patterns on paper and mark patterns to indicate details such as the placement of pockets and pleats on garments, decorative stitching on shoe parts or eyelets on canvas products Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop MS Office Layout Pattern design Decorative stitching Lingerie and undergarments Shirts and blouses Skirts and dresses Swimsuits Cutting machine Pants Public transportation is available Manual dexterity Attention to detail Hand-eye co-ordination Ability to distinguish between colours Combination of sitting, standing, walking Client focus Excellent oral communication Disability benefits Night shift premium Free parking available Learning / training paid by employer Parking available
