Position : Activation Aide- Temporary Full Time
Must have a community college recreation certificate or diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with seniors in a long term care setting.
Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal. Computer skills an asset, must have a valid drivers licence. An energetic, compassionate person who enjoys working with the elderly.

- Assists in the planning, organizing and implementation of meaningful programs
- Promotes and supports a team environment
- Works co-operatively with the Program Manager and facility volunteers
- Assists with the maintenance and good human relations with residents, families, volunteers, and staff of other departments
- Shares responsibility for the care of the equipment in the department
- Follows Occupational Health & Safety standards
- Attends in service education
- Participates in team conferences to plan, develop and assess individual resident care plans
- Performs other duties as assigned
