Position

Overseeing the operation of A server of Dr Rivaz (purchased through a CFI grant) to use by IMPACT lab at the ECE Department. Operating a Verasonics Vantage ultrasound machine (purchased through a CFI grant).

Primary responsibilities Giving members of the IMPACT lab permission to use the server.

Answering deep learning questions from the lab members.

Maintaining and operating the Verasonics ultrasound machine.

Developing deep learning packages for the server. Requirement PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related fields.

Expert in AI and machine learning.

Expert in deep learning methodologies, including convolutional neural networks and transformer architectures.

Expert in ultrasound research.

Familiarity with ultrasound and open ultrasound systems.

Knowledge of Python.

Excellent spoken and written English language skills.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Contract

May 1, – Oct 31, (6 months)

Full-time, 35 hours per week.

Salary
