Employee Benefits Administrator

As an Employee Benefits Administrator you will be supporting a team of insurance advisors by managing group insurance policies for our Total Guard Employee Benefit Group Insurance Program. This is a full-time, 18 month temporary position.

Here is what a typical day looks like

  • Process incoming client requests, new group information, client communications, plan changes and upload relevant forms and documents to our internal policy system.
  • Process and track claims, review new business applications, assemble enrolment packages, and follow up with clients to obtain missing information.
  • Process and distribute incoming departmental mail and update information for plan member policies.
  • Provide basic accounting operations support as well as Marketing and communications support.

The value you bring

  • 1 - 3 years Administration; experience in a similar role within the insurance industry is an asset.
  • Experience in a customer facing service role an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong computer skills and experience navigating multiple computer systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially over the phone.
  • Hours : Full-time, Temporary - 37.5 hours / week for 18 months

    Salary Range : $38,000 – $56,000
