Position : Director of Enterprise ArchitectureLocation : Toronto, hybrid (2 days onsite)Position Overview : As the Director of Enterprise Architecture, you will lead the organization's architectural strategy and execution during this transformative phase.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will design and implement architecture frameworks that align with the company's objectives, enhance operational effectiveness, and foster technological innovation.
Key Responsibilities : - Leadership in Enterprise Architecture : Develop and champion the value of the architecture function, ensuring that it serves as a key enabler for technology and business innovation.
- Strategic Planning : Align business objectives with technology initiatives through comprehensive planning and capability modeling, ensuring that digital transformation efforts deliver maximum value.
- Collaborative Execution : Partner with various teams (e.g., solution architects, business leaders) to define, implement, and oversee technology frameworks that enhance business operations and foster growth.
- Innovation and Modernization : Stay ahead of technological trends, assess their impact on the business, and guide the organization through modernization efforts, especially in cloud-based, microservices, and API-driven technologies.
- Governance and Improvement : Oversee architecture governance, ensure adherence to best practices, and continuously refine architectural processes to support scalability, efficiency, and innovation.
What We're Looking For : - A degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related fields, or equivalent experience- Proven experience in enterprise architecture, with a deep understanding of software engineering, cloud technologies, and IT service models- Expertise in modern architecture frameworks, including cloud-native, microservices, APIs, and SaaS solutions- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences and clearly articulate complex ideas- A track record of aligning technical solutions with business goals and facilitating cross-functional collaboration- An understanding of agile methodologies and a knack for strategic thinking and foresight in a fast-evolving tech landscapeReady for the Challenge?
