Guest Services Assistant Manager - Canad Inns

Summary : Working closely to support the Guest Services Manager as a hands‑on employee, you will represent the highest standard of excellence in welcome and guest service. The Guest Services Assistant Manager is required to work days, evenings, and weekends to manage the day‑to‑day operations of Guest Services while ensuring productivity, performance standards & cost containment objectives are met and exceeded. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can support guest services across all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in our 24 / 7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all details and services for reservations and check‑ins / check‑outs are completed and executed based on company standards and client requests;
• Assist to ensure all staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their jobs;
• Oversee the functions of other Guest Services supervisors and staff and assist or lead when required; communicate objectives and ensure assigned work is completed accurately and thoroughly;
• Assist the GM in monitoring and controlling the Guest Services budget;
• Resolve daily operational problems through consistent monitoring of Guest Services;
• Maintain and coordinate switchboard tasks and procedures.
