What you’ll do :
Reporting to the Lumber Manager the Lumber Desk Clerk is responsible for conducting estimates on smaller projects (windows and doors) and selling the necessary products for these estimates. You will initiate, prepare, and place regular merchandise orders as well as special order merchandise and be responsible for the quality control of special ordered product. You will provide outstanding customer service, process customer transactions, stock the sales floor, merchandising, inventory, and other duties as assigned. The Lumber Desk Clerk performs duties in accordance with the mission statement and policies / procedures of Homestead Co-op.
