Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on time for salaried and hourly employees
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial/state, and local payroll legislation and tax requirements
- Calculate and reconcile payroll deductions, benefits, bonuses, commissions, and overtime
- Prepare and submit statutory remittances (CPP, EI, income tax, garnishments, etc.)
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely manner
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll approval
- Prepare year-end payroll activities including T4s, ROEs, and other regulatory filings
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and alignment
- Support audits by providing payroll documentation and reports as required
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and system efficiencies
Qualifications:
- ADP experience is preferred
- PCP is preferred
- Experience with BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC and NL provinces
- Processing hourly and salaried hours
- Processing payroll for at least 500 associates
- Having done a full cycle payroll on their own. Their supervisor will be there to work as a team, and be their back up

- Being able to work in a work space that has interruptions throughout the day
- Has one to five years of experience
Remuneration for this position will consists of a base salary of $72-78K commensurate upon experience in addition to an annual bonus, flexible benefit program including RRSP matching
