Job Title : Forklift Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in Georgetown. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials, feeding product to the production area, and ensuring a continuous production flow. This role is critical to maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality standards across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forklift inspections before, during, and after shifts.
• Transport materials to and from production areas and designated locations.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform cycle counts of stocked inventory.
• Assist with strapping safety stock and removing garbage from work areas.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming goods such as raw materials.
• Coordinate material flow to support production schedules.
• Complete and submit paperwork such as packaging slips.
• Follow FIFO (first in, first out) procedures for raw materials.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Shift : Monday-Thursday 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm. Candidates must have reliable transportation. Work in a clean shop with clean machinery, with some sawdust present.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr.
