Job Overview

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results‑driven professional to join our team in the role of Project Controls Engineer Officer. Reporting to the Manager, Project Controls, this position is responsible for implementing project control systems within the Projects team. This role is key in project planning, scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and reporting to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and budgets using tools such as Primavera and MS Project.
• Monitor and control project progress, perform schedule and cost analysis, and report on project metrics.
• Ensure compliance with change management processes and maintain baseline integrity.
• Interface with cross‑functional teams, including Finance, Engineering, and external contractors.
• Support project closeout, including financial reconciliation and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and systems.
• Creating and maintaining Excel Macros to automate tasks.

The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training, including any collective agreement requirements for union represented positions. It is not typical for the salary to be offered near the top of the range, and salary is dependent on numerous factors. For management roles, the base salary range does not represent the total compensation package. The total compensation package for regular full‑time management roles includes pay‑for‑performance programs for annual and medium time periods.
