Growing truss manufacturer is looking to hire a Truss Designer with proven design capabilities to guide daily production operations within a modern manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating sales order data, blueprints and drawings, for residential / commercial projects into accurate production-ready CAD drawings (Alpine) and data files for semi-automated production. You will review and make improvements to designs to meet the customers needs while maintaining design requirements and meeting required structural standards. Working with other departments such as Sales, Production and Purchasing you will coordinate drafting department job scheduling to align with production requirements and ensure provision of accurate technical information ensuring production timelines are achieved.
