Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in front-end technologies including Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RxJS
• Strong back-end development skills with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Experience with Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS, especially in modernization projects
• Solid understanding of database systems including OracleDB2 and SQL
• Familiarity with development tools like Git, Jenkins, JIRA, IntelliJ, and Eclipse
• Strong understanding of the insurance domain, particularly in Policy Administration, Claims Processing, and Billing systems
• Knowledge of API integration, security standards, and performance tuning

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular for front-end and Java (Spring Boot) for back-end services
• Collaborate with teams to modernize Mainframe applications and integrate them with distributed systems
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to ensure secure data exchange between systems
• Work closely with business analysts and domain experts to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across UI, middleware, and Mainframe layers
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
