What will you be doing?
The Auto & Property Insurance Specialist I is primarily responsible for processing auto insurance policies and a variety of personal lines policies and intricate insurance contracts related to residential homes and personal belongings.
Key Responsibilities :
- This position processes a variety of personal lines policies and intricate insurance contracts related to residential homes and personal belongings.
- This position processes basic insurance transactions and auto policies.
- Processes personal lines policies and contracts often including items such as residential and recreational property, boats and other personal pleasure craft, and jewelry under the supervision of a more senior licensed broker.
- Identifies client needs and provides information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and other policy features best suited to meet the client's needs; works with clients to manage and reduce their risk.
- Recommends and implements a client’s insurance coverage, premiums and collects payment; promotes Brio Insurance products and services.
- Able to utilize the Insurance portal to endorse and complete a policy and write a new home owner policy.
- Service a 300K Personal lines book and quote a minimum of 40 new home policies per year.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention.

Completed Level 1 Brokers Insurance licenseWorking towards completing all MPI coursesGeneral understanding of MPI / SMI transactionsMPI Lead must complete all requirements to hold the KAP position, if required by branchStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenAttention to detail with high degree of accuracyAbility to work in fast-paced environment and perform well under pressureAbility to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisionsKnowledge of Brio Insurance products and servicesAbility to follow standardized policies and proceduresKnowledge of risk management within the insurance industryProficient computer skillsAdditional Information
