Nanny Wanted - Looking For A Reliable And Covid Cautious Caregiver / Early Childhood Educator Starting Rate $25 An Hour With Sick Days

About us :

We are a warm and caring family of four (one infant and one preschooler) looking for a reliable and COVID-cautious caregiver (willing to test and / or wear a mask indoors) as we return to work.

Ideally, we are looking for a caregiver to start part time in January and transition to full time by April; however, we are flexible and this is negotiable.

Our three year old has started virtual French lessons intended for English speaking parents / caregivers. French is not required, but it would be an asset (or a willingness to learn through preschool song and dance). Lessons are recorded and can be watched at any time, so it is not the caregivers responsibility unless interested.

Position details :

Schedule : Part-time starting in January and transitioning to full time in April (flexible and open to discussion)

Location : Hamilton mountain

Compensation : $25 an hour (negotiable), sick days provided (we ask that you do not come if symptomatic)

Employment type : Live out, long term

Responsibilities : Childcare :

Full childcare to our infant and pre-schooler

Engage with both children in age-appropriate, enriching activities; outdoor activities encouraged

Meals provided

No housekeeping requirements; no school / daycare pick-ups

Requirements :

Experience in chiildcare or early childcare education

Non-smoker

Willingness to COVID test and / or wear mask indoors (both can be provided)

First AID / CPR certification

Vulnerable sector check (can be reimbursed)

Good reference

Not required, but preferred :

French-speaking (or willingness to learn basics through song and activities)

Lower risk lifestyle in terms of COVID cautiousness
