Job description

Our client, an innovative manufacturer of high-end, superior-quality dampers and air control products, serving commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. Located in Smiths Falls, they are looking for reliable “mechanically inclined” NIGHT and AFTERNOON shift teams . What is in it for you?

  • Salary : $22.08 base pay with additional shift premiums
  • Shift : Permanent Sunday to Thursday – Nights – 11.30pm – 7.30amMonday to Friday – Afternoons – 3.30pm – 11.30pm

What do you need to do?

  • In this role you will start as a general laborer. You must be mechanically inclined, tools used include chop saw, pneumatic tools and hand tools to prepare and assemble the finished product
  • You will be punching holes, filling them with gaskets, and building dampers
  • Once your skills are accessed you may move into a specific department such as the Foaming, Quality or Parts Department
  • Maintain a safe work environment

    • What are we looking for?

  • Previous work experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred
  • CSA approved Steel Toe Boots and Clear criminal background check
  • This role is very physical. Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs, able to stand, bend lift for extended periods of time
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Work efficiently as a team player, able to work under minimal supervision and are reliable
  • Effective in communication and Problem solving / Excellent organizational skills
  • You must have reliable transportation to and from work as this is not on a transit route
