Server (May to November)

What you will be doing :

Reporting to the F&B Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :

• Assist guests with menu items and make recommendations
• Sell and up-sell food and beverage items in a positive manner
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items garnishes and preparation methods
• Deliver and present food items to guest tables
• Process guest checks efficiently
• Bus and re-set tables
• Perform opening cleaning and closing duties
• Handle guest concerns and recoveries according to brand standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions
• Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected
• Other duties as assigned.

Visa Requirements :  Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
