Sales & Catering Manager – Crescent Hotels & Resorts
Join us as the Sales & Catering Manager at Crescent Hotels & Resorts, leading the commercial strategy for The Queen’s Cue, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Stratford, expected to open Spring 2026.
Overview
The role is a pre‑opening position with an anticipated start date of January 12, 2026. As the driving force behind the hotel’s commercial success, you will shape how guests, local partners, and the Stratford community experience our boutique property through thoughtful events, strong relationships, and proactive sales initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all group, catering, and local account business, positioning the hotel as Stratford’s preferred venue for intimate celebrations, corporate meetings, and culturally inspired social experiences.
- Lead clients through the entire sales and event journey : sourcing and nurturing leads, conducting engaging property tours, developing tailored proposals, planning menus with the culinary team, and ensuring seamless, polished execution on event day.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships, build a solid base of corporate and leisure accounts, and support the hotel’s long‑term revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef, F&B Manager, Rooms Division Manager, and General Manager to develop programming that reflects our Tribute brand identity and Stratford’s vibrant arts and culinary scene.
- Participate in weekly Manager‑on‑Duty rotations to support the wider hotel operation, demonstrating flexibility in a boutique, high‑touch environment.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in sales, catering, or event management, or a strong combination of education and practical experience.Proficiency with electronic catering and CRM systems.Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to stay organized, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Relationship‑driven mindset, professionalism, polish, and adaptability needed to represent The Queen’s Cue in the community and with clients.Comfortable managing events from concept to completion in a pre‑opening setting.Benefits
