Housekeeping Aide Long Term Care

The Village of Taunton Mills located in Whitby Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Part Time unscheduled hours Housekeeping Team Member to join their team.

Must be able to provide Vulnerable Sector Check obtained in last 6 months and a cleared TB test or chest X-ray done within past 12 months upon acceptance of offer.

As a new Housekeeping Team Member joining our Village Team you will:

• Handle Residents personal items with care and respect
• Comfortable lifting 15-25 lbs.
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents families and team members
• Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team
• Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture

Assets but not required as Schlegel Villages provides training to the successful candidate:

• Have experience working in a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home setting
