ECE Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher / Infant Toddler to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children, including those with special needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s development while working within a collaborative team committed to educational excellence.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support individual learning needs, including children with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Incorporate bilingual instruction when applicable, utilizing language skills in English and French to enhance language development.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and other documentation as required.
- Use computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication with parents or guardians.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding assistant teachers or volunteers when necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.Formal education in early childhood education or a related field; certifications in childcare or teaching preferred.Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable.Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently.Ability to operate computers and relevant software for documentation and communication purposes.Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide young learners and team members.Compassionate, patient, creative, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse needs.plus wage enhancememtJob Types : Full-time, Permanent
