The opportunity
This position resides within the Enterprise Technology and Services (ETS) PMO team and reports to the AVP, ETS PMO
The position will be primarily responsible for managing the governance and reporting of the ETS Project & Program Portfolio.
The ideal candidate should have an extensive background in managing project delivery with a strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities, and experience working with cross-functional and multi-disciplined technology teams are essential.
It is important for the candidate to be enthusiastic about delivering results through large-scale transformation in a complex, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities
Partner closely with Strategy & Planning, IT and Finance groups to support our annual planning exercise.
Ensure project business cases are valid and that sanctioned projects are prioritized, funded, and resourced for success.
Monitor project progress and highlight key delivery risks, issues, and dependencies via portfolio governance.
Partner with Risk & Control Governance groups to ensure projects are assessed and managed appropriately from a risk perspective.
Provide monthly executive reporting with updates on project health, including cost, scope, and benefits to enable informed decisions.
Cultivate a community of committed project professionals that will share and drive development of standard methodologies and continuous improvement.
Ensure quality of deliverables by enforcing controls through coaching / mentoring PMs and working directly with their project leads.
Ensure project teams are following Global Initiative Management Policy and Standards.
Track project approvals and checkpoint schedules, set up project codes, aid PMs with financial analysis / reconciliation / adjustments, report on PM capacity and manage project assignments, support the onboarding of all ETS PMs
Develop and maintain ETS PMO specific guidelines and training materials.

What we are looking for
At least 5 years of experience leading project management or process improvement roles.
Good understanding of finances and ability to understand important metrics and their impact on business.
Skilled at identifying and addressing significant risks and issues to ensure business goals are met.
Proficient in using tools like Excel pivot tables and formulas for analysis.
Known for thinking creatively and challenging the norm to drive meaningful changes.
Able to work independently and connect different parts of the business to make successful changes.
Can influence and collaborate effectively, even without direct authority, and is good at building relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide updates to all levels within the organization.
PMP certification is a must

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Toronto, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between
$107,730.00 CAD - $200,070.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education / training.
