Sr. Accountant

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on contract basis in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This role focuses on year-end support, audit preparation, and core accounting functions to ensure seamless financial operations.

Responsibilities :

• Review capital project expenditures for accurate asset recognition and audit compliance.
• Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support internal and external financial reporting.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy, including journal entries.
• Liaise with auditors and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with cash flow analysis and forecasting.
• Use advanced Excel tools to analyze financial data.
